Overview
3.5mm Female to 2-RCA Female Adapter is a versatile audio interface cable designed to bridge the gap between portable audio devices and home stereo systems. This short “Y-splitter” or coupler allows you to convert a 3.5mm male plug into two RCA female ports (or vice-versa), making it an essential tool for adapting existing cables without signal loss.
Key Features
- Bi-Directional Audio: Works both ways—connect a 3.5mm source to RCA speakers, or connect an RCA source to a 3.5mm input.
- Female-to-Female Interface: Designed to join two male cables together. Ideally used when you already have a long 3.5mm Aux cable and need to plug it into an RCA system (via an RCA male cable).
- Stereo Separation: Splits a single 3.5mm stereo signal into separate Left (White) and Right (Red) RCA channels for true surround sound experience.
- Compact & Flexible: Short cable length (approx. 8 inches) reduces strain on your device ports compared to rigid hard-plastic adapters.
- Gold-Plated Terminals: Ensures excellent sound quality and corrosion resistance for a static-free audio experience.

FAQ
Do I need other cables to use this?
Yes. Since this adapter has Female ports on both ends, you cannot plug it directly into a TV or Phone. You need to plug a Male 3.5mm cable into one side and Male RCA cables into the other side.
Is this Mono or Stereo?
It is Stereo. The 3.5mm end carries both Left and Right channels, which are then split into the White (Left) and Red (Right) RCA ports.
Can I use this to plug a turntable into my computer?
Yes, if your turntable has male RCA cables attached to it. You can plug those into this adapter, and then use a 3.5mm male-to-male Aux cable to connect the adapter to your computer’s “Line In” port.
